Lead Time

When is your installation scheduled? We understand the importance of meeting deadlines and recognize that once approval and financing are in place, projects need to proceed swiftly. We strive to accommodate your deadline and recommend contacting us as soon as possible to ensure sufficient time for fabric delivery. Our lead time largely depends on fabric availability, but once we receive the fabric, we can typically produce and ship within six to eight weeks from the invoice date.

Cleaning Codes

Listed below are the recommended cleaning instructions for fabrics with the different letter of designations:

"F" Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Dry clean using petroleum solvents or fluorocarbon only. Please note caution in use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage. Water stains may become permanent. It is recommended to periodically lightly brush or vacuum fabric to remove dust particle buildup.

"F-" Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Dry clean using petroleum solvents or fluorocarbon only, using reduced moisture, cycle, and/or heat. Please note caution in use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage. Water stains may become permanent. It is recommended to periodically lightly brush or vacuum fabric to remove dust particle buildup.

"p" Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Dry clean in Solvents with the exception of trichloroethylene. Please note caution in use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage. Water stains may become permanent. It is recommended to periodically lightly bruch or vacuum fabric to remove dust particle buildup.

"P." Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Dry clean in solvents with the exception of trichloroethylene. Reduce Moisture, cycle, and/or heat. Please note caution in use of water- based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage. Water stains may become permanent with solvent cleaning products. It is recommended to periodically lightly brush or vacuum fabric to remove dust particle buildup.

"S" Clean this fabric with pure solvents (petroleum distillate based products, Energine, Carbona, Renuzit, or similar products may be used) in a well-ventilated room. Cleaning by a professional cleaning service only is recommended. CAUTION: Use of water- based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinkage. Water stains may become permanent and unable to be removed with solvent cleaning agent. Avoid products containing Carbon Tetrachloride as it is highly toxic. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

"SW" Clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent or with a pure solvent in a well-ventilated room (petroleum distillate-based products, Energine, Carbona, Renuzit, or similar products may be used). Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is suggested.

"W" Clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent to remove overall soil. Many household cleaning solvents are harmful to the color and life of a fabric. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is
recommended.

"WS" Clean water based stains with water based cleaning agents. (Do not use solvents on water based stains.) For oil based stains, use a solvent cleaner.

"WW" Use water based cleaning agents only. Do not use solvents. To remove a stain, gently blot or hand wash, being careful not to over wet fabric. Please note caution that excessive brushing or vacuuming may harm fabric finish.

"X" Clean this fabric only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust or grime. Water-based foam or solvent-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinkage or fading.


Warranty

Product Specifications:

Frames are manufactured from a combination of woods, primarily 4/4 kiln-dried alder. Our goal is to engineer a frame that is trouble free for much longer than the life of the product. Frames are glued, corner blocked and stapled. Wood frame chairs are either maple or beechwood.

Seat support is accomplished with eight gauge sinuous wire springs properly spaced, anchored and secured to provide an extremely durable and comfortable sit.

Cushions and padding for hospitality are 2.0 pounds per cubic foot, special HR foam. Our standard firmness is 33IFD and all foam used in hospitality is Cal 117 compliant.

Sleeper mechanism is Leggett and Platt, 3500 classic square tube series, the most trouble-free mechanism available. Leggett Warranty

Sleeper mattress is manufactured by Englander Mattress for Madison and is approximately 5” thick, firm, 312 coil, quilted mattress that provides unsurpassed comfort in a sleeper! All sleeper mattresses meet the requirements of 16 CFR Part 1633 federal flammability open flame standard for mattress sets when used without a foundation.

Fabric Many of the contract fabrics are either purchased or specified by the customer. Though fabrics are normally tested at the mill level, Madison will inspect each cloth and attempt to determine the fabric’s suitability for the project. This mainly includes seam strength and durability. If there are specific sewing requirements for a given cloth the specifier must alert Madison. This may include overseaming or a requirement other than the industry standard half-inch seam allowance and 7 stitches per inch.

General limited warranty:
Madison Furniture Inc. warrants all upholstered product against defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of normal use and service as follows:

Frame – 5 years
Springs – 5 years
Sleeper Mechanism – 3 years
Workmanship – 1 year
Sleeper Mattress – 7 years
Cushions – 7 years

Fabric wear is not warranted and there are no other express or implied warranties.

Warranty Procedure:
If you think there is a defect in any of your Madison Contract furniture products and you want to make a claim under this Warranty, you must either notify the authorized Madison Contract dealer who sold you your furniture or notify Madison directly.

Please provide the address where the furniture product is located and proof of date of purchase. Please describe the problem you are having with your Madison Contract furniture as fully and clearly as possible.

Madison Contract or the authorized Madison Contract dealer will arrange for an inspection of your furniture and if necessary, for the return of the furniture for repair or replacement.

After receiving notice of a defect or fault in a Madison Contract furniture product, Madison Contract will require a reasonable period of time in which to make the necessary adjustments.

Madison will first attempt to have the warranted product repaired on site and if that is not successful, will either return the piece to the factory for repair or will replace the damaged piece. If the exact fabric is not available a similar fabric will be used. Replacement will be on a prorate basis.

Any transportation, shipping, insurance or other costs involved in delivering warranted furniture to Madison Contract pursuant to the above procedure is covered by this Warranty if you paid transportation or shipping charges for the original delivery of the furniture.
