Madison Furniture Manufacturing, Inc.
Warranty is Non-transferable
Frames are manufactured from a combination of woods, primarily 4/4 kiln-dried alder. Our goal is to engineer a frame that is trouble free for much longer than the life of the product. Frames are glued, corner blocked and stapled. Wood frame chairs are either maple or beechwood.
Seat support is accomplished with eight gauge sinuous wire springs properly spaced, anchored and secured to provide an extremely durable and comfortable sit.
Cushions and padding for hospitality are 2.0 pounds per cubic foot, special HR foam. Our standard firmness is 33IFD and all foam used in hospitality is Cal 117 compliant.
Sleeper mechanism is Leggett and Platt, 3500 classic square tube series, the most trouble-free mechanism available. Leggett Warranty
Sleeper mattress is manufactured by Englander Mattress for Madison and is approximately 5” thick, firm, 312 coil, quilted mattress that provides unsurpassed comfort in a sleeper! All sleeper mattresses meet the requirements of 16 CFR Part 1633 federal flammability open flame standard for mattress sets when used without a foundation.
Fabric Many of the contract fabrics are either purchased or specified by the customer. Though fabrics are normally tested at the mill level, Madison will inspect each cloth and attempt to determine the fabric’s suitability for the project. This mainly includes seam strength and durability. If there are specific sewing requirements for a given cloth the specifier must alert Madison. This may include overseaming or a requirement other than the industry standard half-inch seam allowance and 7 stitches per inch.
